Maison Martin Margiela

Silver, one of the major themes interpreted in the Maison Martin Margiela menswear Spring-Summer 2013 collection through “Artisanal” touches. A classic cotton shirt is reinterpreted with a silver bib. Silver poplin is used for a lightweight carcoat, de-constructed jacket and trousers. Jeans are coated with rubberised silver paint, as is a cotton gilet. The iconic sleeveless “5-zip” jacket is made in a sprayed silver leather. The “Camionneur” sweater is knitted in metallic yarn.
